She started as an activist on SRHR, fighting against sexual harassment in high school. Recognized as one of the most engaged students, she became an alumna of the Welcome to Germany program run by BAYHOST & EMIS. Her engagements led her to 30+ countries. She’s been exploring social changes and innovations from the roles of researcher, journalist, coordinator, consultant, etc. From 2017 she’s been working with women’s and peace funds, served in the Steering Committee of Prospera’s MEL COP and as a WG member in Foundations for Peace Network, through which she contributed to peer-learning on peacebuilding from Northern Ireland to Indonesia. She joined Global Resilience Fund for girls and young women as a participatory grantmaking panelist supporting responses to COVID19.

Marija is particularly helpful for those wanting to shift the power, connect theory & practice of different domains, hold space for critical discussions, engage in responsible and non-harmful manner, develop mindful programs & collaborative initiatives, set flexible funding and/or participatory/rapid grantmaking, find the appropriate model for resource mobilization, approach organizational development or organizational transitions from a collective care perspective, be agile and learn in a non-extractive way through feminist MEL.
