Kate is a social justice advocate with over fifteen years’ programmatic, research, and advocacy experience in gender and sexual health and rights across all global regions, in both development and humanitarian contexts.  Kate’s skills include programme design and management, SRHR technical capacity building and strategy development, monitoring and evaluation, participatory research, bid writing and supporting the work of local and global feminist girls’ and youth movements that challenge the status quo. Kate’s emphasis of work is to ensure adolescent girls, marginalized groups and grassroots advocates have their experiences and voices intentionally centered in all aspects of programmes, policy, and research that relate to them. After a ten year stint at the International Planned Parenthood Federation working in both the Resource Mobilisation and Gender and Adolescent teams, Kate has been consulting with talented and creative teams working on gender justice and girls' rights on behalf of organisations such as With and For Girls Collective, Plan and Global Fund for Women.
