Emmanuel Adebayo is a researcher and a University lecturer with specific interest in Adolescent health and development. He has contributed to several international and National efforts to improve the health and development of adolescents and young people. He participated in the development of the Nigerian Comprehensive Sexuality Education curriculum and developed the M&E plan and indicator framework for Adolescent Health within the country. Emmanuel is currently the PRO for the Society for Adolescent and Young People’s Health in Nigeria (SAYPHIN); a member of the Leadership and Mentorship committee of the International Association for Adolescent Health’s Young Professional Network (IAAH-YPN); He is also a WHO expert on Adolescent Health Metrics – a co-chair of the Global Action for Measurement of Adolescent Health (GAMA). He is a member of the Nigerian National Adolescent Health Technical Working Group. As part of his passion for writing and publishing, Emmanuel is the Assistant managing editor of the Nigerian Journal for Child and Adolescent Health. Emmanuel has a master’s degree in public health and a PhD in Adolescent Health.

Emmanuel is currently a Research Fellow at the Adolescent Health Unit, Institute of Child Health, College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria.
