Sara Pellegrom has been an advocate for sexual and reproductive health and rights for a decade. As a consultant for The Torchlight Collective, she specializes in program design and implementation aimed at advancing the health and rights of young people. She leverages her expertise in technical assistance, advocacy, and project management to advise donors and program implementers on how to reach, engage, and support youth advocates. She also uses her skills in research, technical writing, and storytelling to support the development of toolkits, training curricula, and communications materials. Before joining Torchlight, Sara spent four and a half years at Women Deliver, where she contributed to the strategic development of the Young Leaders Program and supported the program’s capacity-building activities, grantmaking efforts, and advocacy strategies. She has also interned and consulted with the International Planned Parenthood Federation / Western Hemisphere Region (IPPF/WHR) and credits her internship with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Nairobi, Kenya for piquing her interest in public health. Sara holds a Masters of Public Health from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Rhodes College.
