Ricardo Baruch has 15 years of experience working on sexual and reproductive health and rights. He has expertise in project design, implementation and evaluation, quantitative and qualitative research, policy and advocacy, communications among other fields. He has worked with several organizations such as the Fundacion Mexicana para la Planificacion Familiar-MEXFAM and Espolea. Ricardo was the Regional Focal Point for the Global Youth Coalition on HIV/AIDS and a member of the Board of Youth Coalition for Sexual and Reproductive Rights for several years.
He has been a consultant for UNAIDS, UNFPA, the Global Fund and WHO on issues related to adolescents' health, comprehensive sexuality education, LGBTI issues, infectious diseases and health systems. Ricardo is currently doing a PhD in Public Health and consulting for different NGOs and international agencies in Mexico and globally.
